This game is considered as one of the most difficult and challenging games in the gaming community. It comes with a high level of challenges and difficulties especially for beginners. Basically, Escape From Tarkov is a tough survival shooting game where players play a soldier from a private military who fights for survival in a sealed-off city. Since this game can be very challenging for new players, it is important to know some tips and strategies on how you can be victorious and successful in the game.

One of the most important thigs that you should put in mind once you start playing the game is that you should be ready to die. Escape From Tarkov, as mentioned earlier, is not an easy game. Vanguard: Saga of Heroes is a Massively-Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG) that has been out for around two years. I have been following the game since it was in the beta stage, where it gets player tested for bugs and other issues before it is commercially released, and have always thought it sounded innovative and fun. Unfortunately, when the game launched, it was plagued by performance and stability issues, gameplay imbalances between the character classes that players could choose from, unfinished or bugged questlines, and a whole host of other issues.

All of this resulted in a lot of negative press and subsequently many of the 200,000 people who purchased and subscribed to the game quit in frustration. That is why educational unblocked games, is a free alternative to this amazing game. 

Fast forward two years. I stopped playing World of Warcraft and Everquest II and began looking for a new MMORPG that could hold my attention. While browsing gaming sites, I stumbled upon Vanguard again and thought I’d give it a second look. I decided to do my homework before I subscribed since I still remembered all of the problems the game had when it launched.

After visiting the game’s official forums and browsing the various threads, I learned that a good deal of the performance and stability issues had been fixed, player classes had been largely rebalanced, and quite a bit of new content had been added to the game. Unfortunately, the game’s subscriber base never quite recovered from the rocky start, and so the server populations were greatly diminished and the several servers that the game initially had were merged into four remaining ones, with two “normal” servers, one for EU timezones, and one for player versus player (PVP) combat. The development team had also been largely reduced, and the game is apparently not really being marketed anymore.

With all of that said, the remaining developers seem to be doing an outstanding job at continuing to fix problems and still are able to add new content to the game on a fairly regular basis. In fact, they have just finished and introduced a free 14-day trial that sets you out on an island and lets you advance your character to level ten in adventuring, crafting, and diplomacy, in order to have a first-hand look at what Vanguard is all about before you shell out your $15 monthly subscription fee.

Since I had been interested in the game for so long and it now had a free trial, I figured I had nothing to lose by downloading it and checking it out. It took me about 30 minutes to download the trial, and then I was ready to go! Or so I thought. I logged in, the music started playing…and then my computer crashed to a blue screen with some sort of error message. After making much use of search engines and internet forums, I was able to find out that my particular error was not the game’s fault, but rather I simply needed to update my video drivers. It was a relatively quick and painless process to update those, and then I was off and ready to go again!

The second time was the charm with this game, and I came to the character selection screen. I was able to choose a first and last name, a race, and a class, or fighting profession, for my character. A few minutes and clicks later, and my halfling cleric was born. Then I was taken to the customization screen, where I was able to change eye color, hairstyle and color, basic clothing style and color, and a myriad of other little details, ranging from how far apart the eyes were, to what the shoulder mass of my little halfling was. These steps provide a level of customization that I haven’t really seen in any other game I’ve played, and even though some of the changes are minor ones, it really does give you a sense that you won’t run into a carbon copy of your character out in the game world, which is nice.

After the character customization comes the server choice. Being in the United States, I ruled out the EU server, and since I hadn’t heard great things about the player versus player server, I ruled that one out as well. I was left with the remaining two U.S. servers and just picked one randomly. Finally, I was ready for the actual game.

It must be said at this point that my computer is a couple of years old, and wasn’t exactly cutting edge even then, so I had to adjust some of the graphics settings down so my video card didn’t explode, but I was still able to appreciate the level of detail that has gone into this game.

From the blades of grass and trees swaying in the breeze, to the rain and ambient insect noises, it’s clear that this game was meant to be immersive, and in my opinion, it delivers. Each non-player character (NPC) you interact with has something to say, and the quests you are assigned to do have a nice flow to them, and all the while they are educating you on the game lore for the trial island. Needless to say, I didn’t get much sleep that first night, as everywhere I looked and everyone I interacted with introduced me to some new game mechanic or advancement of the storyline. In short, I was hooked.

The other players on the island seemed to be a mixture of new people to the game, like me, and others that have played for much longer but were starting alternate characters for some of the rewards you apparently get after completing all of the quests on the island. For the most part, the in-game chat was filled with people asking game-related questions and usually getting friendly and helpful replies.

There was the occasional immaturity, but that is really to be expected since it is a game. By and large, though, the player community on Vanguard seems to be a little older and a lot more mature than most other games I’ve played, so that was a big bonus for me. I was able to join a couple of groups of players to finish up the more difficult quests, and each time everyone was polite, helpful, and patient with me as I asked questions and was still figuring out how to do certain things.

After a few days of giving this game entirely more attention than I had planned, my little halfling was at level 10 and ready to explore the rest of the world. I still had several days left on my free trial, but after weighing the pros and cons to subscribing, I found that the pros far outweighed the cons, and I figured for the price of two movie tickets (excluding popcorn and drinks) a month, I was really getting a lot of value, so I took the plunge and paid my membership fee. One huge download later, and the rest of the world was opened up. I definitely foresee a lot of fun and a lack of sleep in the weeks and months to come!

It takes a lot of time to establish your credentials in a level playing field like movies where there is entertainment galore with competition all around that makes artists to change their course every now and then in order to make things relatable to the current generation.

There are many forms of entertainment in existence and one article isn’t enough to cover all of them in one go because we all have our personal favorites that we cannot bear to see getting upstaged by others despite them being just as talented or even more so than our idols.

Speaking of entertainment, movies and sports aside, video games too instantly come to mind when people keep recalling the times they spent during childhood envisioning themselves as super Mario, Contra, Swat Kats, Dangerous Dave and others because you simply cannot separate them from the 80s and 90s generation.

Brief Study

However the millennial generation love Pokemon Go more than the ones mentioned above as they feel that nothing can come close to it when it comes to action adventure games with many of them going so far as to declare it head and shoulders above any Stallone or Schwarzenegger flick with their rippling muscles.

First off, Pokemon was first launched way back in 1997 when where it had to struggle to establish its identity with some big names ruling the roost and so it did not generate that much of a positive response in the first few years.

Fortune favored the company and soon it became a top notch game around 2001 that slowly but surely established its credentials in a level playing field, which inspired its makers to come up with a Pokemon Animated Series a year later on cartoon network that became a monstrous success worldwide.

There was a time when kids would stay glued to their television sets watching Ash Ketchum and his friends out on their adventures in capturing Pokemons and keep them away from the antagonists Jessie, James and Meow with Pokemon merchandise being a massive hit.

Similarly, in the new age of social media, Pokemon Go was launched in July 2016 that soon found its way into our mobile phones, which incidentally completed four years just a few days back.

Highest Grosser

Pokemon Go has now grossed nearly $3.5 million in just a few years and that alone speaks the mammoth following that it continues to enjoy to this day that it hasn’t allowed any new game to come anywhere close to it in the popularity stakes.

This has encouraged more kids to buy pokemon go accounts and set their path on the same field even though some are also fascinated by Dragon Quest Walk, a newly launched game by Square Enix.

With Pokemon Go available on both Android and Apple, a significant share of earnings goes to both Google Play Store and App Store, thereby prompting them into a huge spree where there are rumors of talks being held between them to invest a fortune into Pokemon Go or entering into a joint venture with them in due course.

Older video games consoles are finicky machines, often requiring some prodding and poking to get them to operate properly. This is truer with cartridge-based consoles than with disc-based ones, but each come with their own problems that become worse with age. And Alts shop offers reliability in such cases. 

Cartridge-Based Consoles

Examples of cartridge-based consoles would be the Nintendo Entertainment System, the Atari 2600, and the Sega Genesis. Cartridges are basically chunks of rectangular plastic with a slot in one end. That slot faces the cartridge-shaped slot on the video game console. In theory, when the former is inserted into the latter, and the power button is turned on, video game magic occurs.

But the reality is that dust builds up inside both the console and the cartridge, preventing the console from recognizing a game is present. The most straightforward way to remedy this is to blow into the cartridge through the open end. It should only take one or two medium-strength breaths to do the trick. Blowing into the cartridge slot on the game console itself can also free up and remove the dust particles built up inside of it.

Using too strong of breaths or using this method too often can damage the processor board inside the cartridge. If there is concern about this happening, a cotton swab dipped in a mild cleaning solution can be used to clean the inside of the cartridge.

If the game still has trouble playing, it may need to be disassembled and cleaned thoroughly. This will require a very small set of screwdrivers, like those found in an electrician’s toolset. The actual cleaning will require some cotton swabs and a light cleaning solution. Most cartridge games are very simple to disassemble and reassemble.

A final note for getting cartridge games to work properly is to insert them properly into their consoles. To do this, they need to be grasped on the very end and pushed into the console gently but firmly. Equal force must be applied to both sides of the cartridge to ensure it is not inserted at an angle.

Disc-Based Consoles

Older disc-based consoles include the PlayStation, the Sega Saturn, and the Dreamcast. The main problem encountered with disc games not playing is that they are dirty, or cracked.

Dirty or scratched discs will generally work after being wiped with a wet towel then dried with a microfiber cloth. If the scratching is too severe, the disc can be repaired at a pawn shop or electronics retailer that repairs discs. Disc repair kits can be purchased at most electronics retailers.

For cracked discs, the will just have to be replaced.

With disc-based consoles, one thing to check for is that the laser lens that reads the disc may be dirty or covered in dust. With a Dreamcast or PlayStation, the disc tray opens upward and leaves the lens exposed, allowing to it easily collect dust. The lens can be cleaned with a dry microfiber cloth.

A final note when playing games on disc-based consoles is to make sure the game being played is designed for the console being used. It is very easy to mix up discs for different consoles. Dreamcast discs will actually show a message onscreen when placed in a PlayStation console, saying that the disc needs to be placed in a Dreamcast console.

Most disc games have the name of the console they were designed for written on the top portion of the disc.

One last thing to keep in mind when playing older video game consoles: very few consoles released before 2001 were designed to allow players to switch out games while the console is powered on. When playing an older console, always turn off the system when changing out one game for another, then power the system back on once the new game is inserted.
