The Epic of 2010
January 8, 2011***Conditions for viewing this post: if you view this post, you must take 15 seconds and leave a comment saying which of these photos is your personal favorite for the year. I’d love to hear your input. Thank you.***
I love using the word “epic” and most people who know me know that I’ve been using it for quite some time now. I’ll never forget watching Pat O’Connell and Wingnut Weaver in Endless Summer II and hearing them use that word over and over. Even though it seems like “epic” is getting a lot of play lately and somewhat of a trendy word,I’m not going to let it stop me.
So with that preface, let me announce the following post of the epic, epicness that was 2010. I cannot even begin to use words to describe how superb this year has been, that’s why I’m labeling it “The Epic of 2010″. From coast to coast, outside the boarders of our country and right nearby my Studio in Linden, CA I bring you some images that are the storybook of my photographic year. With this post I’d like to, once again, thank all of the wonderful couples who have trusted their most important day with me. It has been an honor and privilege to photograph each and everyone of you. I’m so thankful for all of the clients turned friends and I’m just not quite sure how 2011 can be any better than 2010.
At first I was going to try to select one image from each wedding, than a series from each wedding, then my top 25, then my top ten and I ended up with just the most random group of whatever was speaking to me at the moment. There are images from weddings I haven’t even blogged yet on here. Obviously not every wedding I photographed this year is represented, I simply ran out of space/time. As I was posting this I was thinking of images and I wish were included, but perfection is equal to procrastination so please accept my apologies if you didn’t see yourself on here.
Also, I purposefully posted these collages at a bigger size so that you could enjoy each individual image. So sit back, open your eyes wide and enjoy.
