San Francisco Engagement Session | Bahareh+Justin

August 6, 2009

I’ll never forget the compliment the compliment that Justin gave me in our initial wedding consultation. He said, “you’re definitely one of the most genuine, down-to-earth people we’ve met.” That comment really stuck with me that day and it is definitely one of the core principals of my wedding photography business to be genuine.
I knew that Baha and Justin were going to be a fabulous couple and they didn’t disappoint. We started in San Francisco at the Cliff House and Sutro Baths area, then headed for a hike out to a little spot with one of the most amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge. These two have such a beautiful connection and I cannot wait to photograph their Grass Valley wedding in September.
Here are a few photographs from their engagement session in San Francisco last week. Stay tuned for an insane amount of rad blog posts coming up from both weddings last weekend in Turlock, Morris Chapel at University of Pacific Stockton, some more from a wedding I photographed with my friend Sam at Carneros Inn wedding in Napa a few months back, some personal work, a hot air balloon ride in Napa Valley this weekend and an Awhanee Lodge Yosemite wedding I’m shooting with my friend Rob this weekend. Yeah, it is busy. Yeah, I like it. Enjoy.

Ian Andrew: your use of positive and negative space in your pics really stands out to me.
