This past Friday I had the privilege of photographing the beautiful wedding of Jim and Luma alongside one of my best friends in the industry, Sam Hassas, at The Carneros Inn of Napa, CA. Sam is one of the biggest influences in my photography and one of the reasons I’m where I am today. I probably would still be taking photos of college age kids on skis and snowboards instead of making friendships with the most awesome couples ever. Thanks Sam, you’re awesome!
The Carneros Inn of Napa Valley is owned by Plumpjack Resorts (who also happen to own one of my favorite restaurants at Squaw Valley, Lake Tahoe) and they always have such an authentic elegance to all they do. Despite the rain, the wedding ceremony was beautiful and everyone had an awesome time at the reception.
Luma looked gorgeous in her vintage inspired gown and I can’t wait to show the rest of the details of the day. Jim was keeping everybody smiling all day and definitely has the heart of a saint, what a cool guy. There were so many amazing details to this wedding that I’ll probably go into more detail in the next blog post. So for now, you get one teaser image. Enjoy.
