I’ve been waiting for a while now to share Pom and Cos’ lovely, Sacramento, CA wedding at Mulvaney’s Restaurant with you because I was waiting for The Knot to publish it in their latest edition of real weddings! Their wedding was such a dream. When you bring fabulous wedding vendors together such as: Alison Ulshoffer Events, R. Douglas Custom Suits, Tacori Jewelry, Sage Florals and Mulvaneys…fabulous results are a sure thing. Make sure you head out to the newsstand and pick up the latest copy of the The Knot Northern California for some fresh wedding inspiration. Enjoy.

Michelle with MB Weddings has been putting together this great bridal event in San Francisco, CA for the past few years called Promises and Pearls. This year it will be at the luxe Bentley Reserve in the city. You’ll be inspired by several awesome designs, great food, luxury wedding vendors and fabulous people. I’ll be there photographing some of the wedding designs and models so make sure to say hi. Please head over to the Promises and Pearls website to register.

I wish I could describe the feeling I get when I have an inquiry to photograph at Oak Farm Vineyards. It is truly a beautiful place. Rustic, yet sophisticated. Sprawling, yet quaint. Away from it all, yet close enough. If you’re looking for a sophisticated, wine country wedding I would highly recommend scheduling a site tour at Oak Farm. The possibilities here are truly endless (I’m really waiting for the day when someone does an outdoor reception around the pond at night, hmmm) and the natural beauty of the place lends to simple, chic wedding designs. Lodi wine country definitely has a gem in Oak Farm.
Here is the final installation of Anna and Anthony’s wedding from this spring at Oak Farm. Enjoy.

Tim Sarquis: Love, love, love, LOVE the black and whites! So cinematic!

Alison Ulshoffer: This is so amazing I don't even know what to say!

Jackie: You lucky guy, your wedding was allowed their reception in the barn! Great pictures as always!

lisa: this sir, made me smile. :) time is right ... your work is cinematic.

Aimee Wendell: Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I hope they open that barn back up. It's stunning!

Personal | Kids + Linden

As a photographer who makes thousands of photographs every month, studies the art of his craft daily and is quite immersed in the business end of things as well, it would be easy for me to neglect photographing my own children. However, they’re so cute that they make my job easy, I love making pictures and I don’t want have “the mechanic’s car syndrome”. Here are some random photographs from a lazy day around the house, some from the Linden countryside and a few from Father’s day.
Wedding season is in full swing and I’m starting to book up for the 2011 season as well. If you’re reading this and know someone who is getting married, recently engaged or even someone helping plan a wedding I would love for you to send them a link and have them check out some of my wedding work. www.ScottAndrewStudio.com In other news, I’ve been traveling quite a bit (Lake Tahoe, Sonoma, Hollywood, Philadelphia, New York City and even Hopland) and I have some amazing weddings to share on the blog soon. Also, my new website construction is under way (I literally haven’t updated anything on there in almost two years) and it is looking fantastic with lots of fresh content and some nice new features.

Sarah: Scott, they are adorable (and so well dressed!). What a lucky dad you are. ;)

Max A. Franks: Beautiful shots of the kiddies!

I’m sure you’ll remember the epic engagement session that went down in Manhattan last year with Tracy and Matt. Cheryl and I had such a great time in the city with them cruising around, making photographs and having dinner. I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding at Capitale in New York City next month, stoked is not even the word.
When Tracy sent me an email to tell me who she had chosen for her cinematographer, I was really excited to find out I’d be working with Couture Motion from Orange County. They’re an awesome husband and wife team that captures some amazing video and I can’t wait to see what they do on the wedding day. Here is a “Love Story” that they did with Tracy and Matt in New York City that I thought you would enjoy.

Tim Sarquis: Dude, epic! Loved it! Enjoy NYC! So jealous!

Megan@ COUTUREmotion Films: Thanks for the shout out Scott! We can't wait to work with you! PS...we checked out Capitale when we were there for the Love Story...it's epic!

lydia {ever ours}: such a super cute story!
