I had the opportunity to shoot a great engagement session last week in Sacramento for a wonderful couple. These two are totally in love. You can see the excitement in her eyes, feel the care in his voice and smell the love in the air. At our initial consultation I’ll never forget how excited they were (as a couple, not just the bride, GUYS!) to see the slideshow of images I presented to them from weddings I’ve shot. I got the feeling that they could envision their wedding day and feel themselves in those images. It was so cool, I knew we were a great fit from day one.
Our session started out at the Capitol Building and we wandered around a little bit ending up in Old Town. A typical engagement session with me has a lot of impromptu moments. We see something we like, we walk over there and shoot it! Get ‘er done.
My friend Kameron Olds tagged along with me and was a great help. I look forward to shooting with him more in the future. Enjoy the photos!
