Engagement Session | Miranda + Wilson

April 21, 2009

I claimed that I was going to be a more active wedding blogger when I switched over to this new blog and I meant it! Just today, yes TODAY, I shot an engagement session for the fabulous Miranda and Wilson. We went out in the blazing Central Valley heat (what’s up with 95 degrees in April anyways?) and tromped around to some locations that I scouted earlier for their shoot.
Miranda and Wilson are awesome. They’re so laid back and they have a genuine, authentic love for one another. Not the kind of love that you have to “wear on your sleeve” but the kind of love where once you’ve spent 10 minutes with them, you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they’re in love. I love Miranda’s smile, her awesome sense of style (fuschia Kate Spade shoes for the wedding day, YES!) and how easy it is to get her to laugh. I love Wilson’s cool demeanor, attitude, the fact that every idea I had he was like, “yeah, let’s do it!” and how he treats his fiancee in such a gentleman like fashion.
These two are getting married in June at the Larsa Center in Turlock, CA. I can’t wait for their traditional Assyrian wedding ceremony. From everything I’ve heard, I’m expecting it to be lively and beautiful.
Please take a minute to try the “super easy” comment section at the bottom of this post and leave some love for the engaged couple. Enjoy.
