I’m sure you’ll remember the epic engagement session that went down in Manhattan last year with Tracy and Matt. Cheryl and I had such a great time in the city with them cruising around, making photographs and having dinner. I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding at Capitale in New York City next month, stoked is not even the word.
When Tracy sent me an email to tell me who she had chosen for her cinematographer, I was really excited to find out I’d be working with Couture Motion from Orange County. They’re an awesome husband and wife team that captures some amazing video and I can’t wait to see what they do on the wedding day. Here is a “Love Story” that they did with Tracy and Matt in New York City that I thought you would enjoy.

I had one of my favorite photographs featured in the “Beautiful Bridal Portraits” edition of Junebug Weddings. Make sure and go check out some of the most beautiful photography from around the world. I was recently chosen by Junebug as one of the Top Ten Photographers in Northern California. This is a huge honor and it feels good to be in such good company as is on the list. Enjoy.

There is no way that I can convey the personal style and sophisticated touch that Anna and Anthony brought to their beautiful wedding at Oak Farm Vineyards in Lodi, CA (one of my personal favorite venues to photograph). From the un-stretched canvases that were hand-painted by Anna’s father and renowned artist, Michael Hoffee, to the eco-friendly flower baskets lining the aisle of their ceremony. And how fitting is it for such a “green” wedding for the bride to be wearing a green wedding dress. The dress is actually a vintage piece from San Francisco, CA dress designer Emma Domb which is another way to add an earth friendly touch to the wedding.
These two are so cool, easy going and I’m jealous that they get to call beautiful Lake Tahoe, CA their home. Oak Farm is a special place to the lovely couple. Anthony’s family owns and operates the farm/winery located in beautiful Lodi, CA wine country. I was pretty bummed for the two that their trip to Europe was canceled (due to the volcano erupting literally like two days before) but it sounds like they had a great time in Maui nonetheless! I’m looking forward to hitting the slopes in Tahoe with you two this winter. Enjoy.

Elegance, class, sophistication, awesome, beauty, grace, character…just a few adjectives to describe this lovely couple and their wedding. I can’t wait to share the complete set. They were wed at the LDS Temple in Sacramento, CA and their reception was at a private residence in Yuba City, CA. We stopped along the road to the reception to make a little awesome. My + David are both architects. They wanted a few “standard” bridal party portraits and then a few out of the box. So I put them in a box. We collaborated a bit on this frame and I like it. What do you think?
