I’ve been dying to photograph a wedding with one of my favorite cameras that I don’t get to use that often, the Fuji GF670 and I thought shooting this beautiful wedding with my good friend Zach Anderson would be prime. I love the square format and feel that it challenges my composition. I was also able to slip in a roll of 20 year old Kodak Vericolor 100 film that produced some stunning results, the tones were just gorgeous. I’m in love with the results and absolutely in love with the wedding of this beautiful couple.
Auberge du Soleil is such a classic wine country venue. The feeling is exclusive yet relaxed, the vibe is luxe yet comfortable. For a smaller crowd or a destination wedding, Auberge is a top pick in the Napa Valley wine country region. On to the photographs, I hope you enjoy.

Hi friends. I just wanted to share one of the most recent accolades and high honors I’ve received which is being hand selected for Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book. Style Me Pretty is definitely the leader in “all things wedding planning” and they are known for choosing the finest vendors in each area to add to their book. Anyhow, check out the listing and let me know what you think. Enjoy.

It was truly wonderful photographing Esther and Matt’s wedding in Old Town Pasadena at the Westin. These two have so much style. I’m so happy to see their wedding featured on Wedding Chicks, a great blog for brides looking to find inspiration for their perfect day. Check it out.

Wente Vineyards in Livermore, CA was a beautiful setting for Kimberly and Kevin’s nuptials this winter. In spite of the rain, we managed to grab a few portraits outside and the ceremony was held outside under the trees. I love how simple they kept everything and the warm feel of the wedding even though it was freezing outside. Kimberly and Kevin are super special people and their love for family really shined throughout the day. Thank you two for letting me be there to capture your day. Enjoy.

I’m the kind of guy that always has more fun lounging around talking in smaller groups at an after-party than at “the party”. That is why I finally gave in and made a Facebook page for Scott Andrew Studio. The blog and website are “the party” but the FB page is going to serve as an after party where I’ll post images, offer commentary, post videos, talk about random happenings and maybe even post photos before they even hit the blog (like you know, today). Anyhow, I promise not to be annoying, bombard you with spam or ask you to help me pick radishes. While you’re there, you can suggest the page to friends you know who might be engaged or just anyone who loves beautiful photos. Thank you to all of my loyal blog readers and friends, your support is immensely appreciated! Take care and get on over to “like” my page. Enjoy.
