Boston | Class of 2009

May 6, 2009

Everyone saw the teaser shot from Boston’s senior session and I’ve been hearing some fantastic comments from everyone (go ahead and use the comment form below, it’s easy). So, I thought I’d share a few more and give some insight into what goes into the making o a spectacular senior session.
For Boston’s session we decided on some concepts beforehand, locations were reviewed, props were thought out and lighting scheme was definitely a factor in the conceptualization. What is cool about this shoot is that Boston had a lot of say in what actually went down. I’d love to take the credit, but he had an idea from some magazine and I researched it to make the idea come to life in his session. When a session is thought out, planned and executed according to plans you’re almost guaranteed great results.
I’m definitely looking to do more senior sessions for the class of 2010 and I’m currently seeking senior models who want to rep Scott Andrew Studio on their campus and get a free session (email scott@scottandrewstudio.com). My senior sessions are drive by fashion, art and lifestyle. I offer a boutique photography service to those who are appreciative of the art and clients who know what they want. This is one of the main reasons I love my clients so much, they “get” what I’m doing and “understand” the art that goes into producing the photographs they see.
Enjoy.
