May 19, 2008In other news today…the average cost of a wedding for 2007 is $27,408. I saw this in the paper and thought that it might be interesting. I’ll add my $.02 as well: flowers will wilt and die, dresses will be boxed and stored in the attic, food will be consumed and, well, digested……but the images we, as photographers, capture from that “oh-so special” day, will last forever!
If you think about it, a nice cake and gorgeous flowers can look terrible if you hire a photographer who you thought might save you some money. Just a thought, I know! So what do you think is a good price for a complete wedding? Should you splurge and charge stuff to a card? Post your thoughts and discussions below! Anyhow, watch for the massive Disneyland Update from my vacation in a day or two here!

DnB Photograpahy: I would have to agree, however I am a cheap photographer, but I'm not cheap because I have to be, I'm cheap because I love helping out couples on a budget. I couldn't afford a top notch photographer when I as younger and who I hired, well, plainly sucked ;) Don't get me wrong, a part of me wishes I asked for more, but then afterwards I am always so proud of myself for all the hard work I put into something and didn't ask for too much in return. :)
but that's just me, however I ask my brides to fork out the big bucks for a nice album, which usually they do with the money they get from the wedding, cause a good album lasts a long time !!! :)
PS. you do great work!!!
