This has seriously got to be one of the funnest wedding groups I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. I immediately felt at home from day one and the family made me feel like I was just one of them. One thing I’ve noticed is that the people I’ve met who are in Agriculture (Jenna’s [parents live in the middle of a huge vineyard) is that they are some of the most down to earth, cool people ever. They treat you right, they have principals and values on friendships and I totally respect that. So Spanky and Jenna have some excellent upbringing, some awesome family and some radical friends (Jenna is actually college friends with a guy I went to high school with in Palo Alto, good times).
The wedding at Saint Joachim Catholic Church in Lockeford, CA was beautiful. Lynnie Lechich did a fabulous job with planning the wedding, Embellish Floral was wonderful with making all the flowery details come alive and Angelina’s served up their famous Italian cooking for everyone to enjoy. Although the temperature was around 101 degrees, I think the wedding was awesome.
Spanky and Jenna, have a blast in St. Lucia on your honeymoon and hopefully we can hang out when I’m down in San Diego later this month. You two are a fabulous couple and I’m thankful for having the privilege of photographing your splendid wedding.

Spanky and Jenna just had one of the awesomest weddings ever and partied about as hard as anybody! True story. Here is one cool photo that I clicked and I’ll have some more coming later. Props to Kameron Olds of The Shooting Gallery for coming out and 2nd shooting with me. Enjoy.

I like some of the ideas in this article and thought my couples might get a little insight. What do you think should stay traditional and what do you think should change? I find a lot of my couples being mixed with untraditional and still keeping some traditions and I like that. Enjoy
Cool Wedding Tips

I think I’m going to have to do 2 or 3 blog posts with the photos from Travis and Natalie’s wedding, they’re simply that awesome. In my email this morning I read probably one of the sweetest emails I’ve ever received from a bride. Natalie and Travis, you’re so cool! I wish I could share it with everyone.
The wedding was held at Galletto Ristorante in Downtown Modesto, CA which is a beautiful venue with amazing decor and yummy food to boot. Kelsey and Nicole from Galletto, along with their staff, kept everything running smoothly for the wedding and they were super cool to work with. It just seemed that everything went flawless, even my new wedding shoes (yeah, I bought some new kicks for the season) were super comfortable and didn’t hurt my feet.
Natalie’s Alfred Sung dress was absolutely gorgeous and her hair and makeup were a perfect fit for the feel of the dress. Travis was looking dapper with a white paisley vest and tie under a classic black tuxedo. The feel of the wedding was elegant and romantic all while being fun and enjoyable. Check back in a few for some more photos from this beautiful couple’s wedding.

I’ll be honest, I don’t think Natalie thought I knew what I was doing with this pose, but this is definitely one of my faves from the day. It is a shot that simply says, “yeah, that’s my style” and walks on down the street. I love it.

This is their “first sight.” I love couples who choose to see each other before the wedding. It is such a nice time for them to spend time together before the rush of festivities and we’re also able to capture some amazing moments together.

Walking down the aisle with Dad, such a sweet moment.

Natalie and Travis are so awesome, so in love, so perfect for each other and I can’t wait to show you guys the full set of images. They had a very elegant, yet fun wedding at Galletto Ristorante in Downtown Modesto, CA. What a sweet wedding and an awesome couple. Here is a teaser shot as they walked down the aisle happily ever after! Enjoy.
