I saw this a week or two ago and meant to blog it.  Then my good friend Dane Sanders tweeted about it and it reminded me that I should share.  This is definitely one of the coolest public “stunts” that I’ve ever seen.  They only had 2 auditions and still pulled it off.  Only in Europe I guess.  The Sound of Music is such a classic too.

If you know me, you’ll know that I’ve always tried to have a unique business card.  For the longest time I’ve had the stressed linen cards (gold color) and I’ve had excellent feedback on the old cards.  I’ve even had brides ask where to get the paper because they wanted to use it for their wedding invitations.  But I thought it was time to step it up to a letterpress card with a design that will be good for the transition to my new branding.

The design is simple, chic and the card is unorthodox.  My hairstylist told me that my card has a very “MOMA” (museum of modern art) feel to it and that was music to my ears.  I like clean, simple design in my photographs and my albums…so why not my cards.  Alex @ Press 817 dropped the press on these for me and I’m pretty stoked.  If you’re interested in letterpress cards, wedding invitations, stationary or anything for your wedding check out press817.com or your local letterpress shop.  Here’s a snapshot and hopefully you’ll have one of these in your hands soon.  Enjoy.

Yay, here we are.  The new blog is so nice and roomy, with awesome features like a fading slideshow up top, search options, links to my other sites all in one place and a gorgeous/sano layout to boot.  It kinda feels like driving a new car.  I’ve been testing out all the features and learning how it all works.  Fun, fun.  So be sure to update your subscription to the blog, update your bookmarks or if you’re super oldschool make a new yellow post-it note with this web address.

Hey everybody, I’m sorry the blog hasn’t been as hot as it usually is. Between shooting, editing, meetings, TAXES, new website, album design etc. etc. etc. I’ve been pretty busy.
Also, I’ll be honest with you: I don’t really feel too inspired to post on this blog right now because I know that the new one I’m working on is going to be soooo much more spectacular. It’s kind of like that suit (or dress, ladies) that you just bought and wanted to wear out to dinner, but it didn’t make it back from the tailor in time. So you were stuck with wearing your “old” one. Well, that about sums up my blog feelings right now. But just be patient, the new blog is going to be ridiculous and I’m going to go on a blogging tear!
In other news (if you don’t follow me on Twitter or Facebook): it looks like I may have found a studio space on the Miracle Mile in Stockton. It is a really cool loft and I am just stoked beyond belief. We’re working out details as I type and I’ll let you guys know what happens.
