::NYC=Ridiculously Radical::

October 17, 2008

Ok folks, I’ve found my new favorite city and it is New York, New York. My wonderful clients have flew me out here to shoot their engagement session and party. We’re having so much, shooting, enjoying the city, good food, etc. I am totally in love with this place, I could buy one of those I love NY shirts and really mean it! You can just feel the vibrancy and the life. It is definitely somewhere I’ll be returning to soon. Anyhow, here is one shot from today to tide you over. I have to get some sleep.

I just want to let everyone know how cool it is to have Wifi at 39,000 ft on American Airlines. I’m like over Utah right now, it’s pretty much desert out there and pretty desolate. This is soooo cool, I love it! It was pretty cheap and allows me to stay connected to my beloved clients. I’m flying out to NYC to shoot an awesome engagement session and party over there! It should be pretty amazing and I’m excited about seeing the city. Any suggestions for what to do? Stay tuned for some amazing images coming to this blog in the upcoming days! Peace.

I had the opportunity to shoot a sweet wedding for a sweet couple in Napa this past Saturday. The weather was lovely, the people were wonderful and the bride was stunning. The details of a wedding are always the indicators of style and fashion. From the gorgeous bracelet that Flora wore to the intricate details of their table settings, this was a fine affair. The ceremony took place at St. Appolinaris Church in Napa and the reception at Nicholson Ranch in Sonoma. Special thanks to the people at Nicholson Ranch and Angela of Lulu Events (who did an amazing job planning this wedding and I would highly recommend for yours). Here are a few images of the day for your viewing pleasure.

::Let It Snow::

So the Lord blessed us, or should I say teased us with some snow in the Sierras the last couple of weeks and I can’t wait to ski! I know this is totally non-wedding related, but skiing is something I do to keep the stoke alive in the winter time. Check out my friend Eric Pollard and be inspired.

Wine and Roses in Lodi, CA is such a wonderful place to get married and the fact that Mike was with the owner when he met Kathy, makes it super sweet. The smile on Kathy’s face was completely contagious and the love and kindness that Mike displays is so warm. It was truly a joy to work with this fine couple. The union of two people and two families was very apparent on this special day. There were so many great moments during this wedding, from the toasts of long time friends, to Mike’s performance on the dance floor (I was impressed). Needless to say I had a great time and hopefully we’ll see these two around if they’re not traveling the world over.
Big props to Sara (Kathy’s daughter) who pretty much planned the whole occasion, she did such a great job and brought in all the right people to make her mom’s day special. We joked that she was just trying us (vendors) out for her wedding, because she seems pretty close to being next! haha, love ya Sara! Big shout out to Marquis of Marquis Entertainment for just being the amazing DJ/Emcee that he is. This guy is so on the ball folks, maybe I’ll make a post about him later! He’s probably my favorite DJ to work with.
