I got a nice care package from my super cool friends at Eesa Luxe Layering, whom I met a few years ago while shooting a ski/snowboard event. They have the most amazing apparel for luxe comfort whilst enjoying winter sports. I love these guys because they always send fun stuff to their friends (a funky CD one time, some origami another, etc. etc.). Support a great company that is taking the winter world by storm. Oh yeah, I shot a fun wedding yesterday and will blog it tomorrow. I’ll also have the Yosemite wedding up tomorrow.

I shot a great wedding in the San Francisco with Regas Chefas last saturday and had a blast. Weddings are so much fun. My feet hurt at the end of the day, but I meet so many cool people. My back is sore on the ride home, but I caught so many great smiles. April and Mike were a wonderful couple and have a great connection. I love weddings! By the way, I just shot a super sweet wedding at Glacier Point in Yosemite today. Check back soon for the bloggage. Take care, enjoy and leave me some love in the comment section.

Ok so I just came back from the Free To Succeed Tour (read below) and I’m feeling very…ummm…well…FREE! I just saw this video on YouTube and thought everyone would totally enjoy it. If you can’t laugh at this couple (or with them for that matter), you need therapy. Also, just for my personal entertainment, the next couple who does this at one of my weddings will receive a sweet, 16×20, gallery wrap canvas print from yours truly. Enjoy and have a blessed day!

::FREE TO SUCCEED::

August 12, 2008

Wow! I’m so stoked right now! I can’t even put into words the thoughts, ideas, creativity, stoke and wildness that is going through my little brain right now. I guess the fact that it is 1:20 am on a monday night and I’m blogging should say something. I just got home from the Free To Succeed Tour in San Francisco. It was so fresh. I took a ton of notes and even more are still resonating in my heart. David Jay has always been such an inspiration to me and when I heard that he was doing this tour, I was like “I’m there!” I learned so much, it was amazing. Not just that, getting to see some friends and meet new people was such a highlight of the night. Jasmine Star absolutely rocked the mic! The information and inspiration from these two was so genuine, it was so real…if you’re a photographer and thinking about going to one of the many stops across the country, stop what you’re doing, click the link and GO! If you’re a client, get ready for Scott Andrew version 2.0. I’m more stoked on awesome photography, awesome service, awesome clients, awesome experience than ever before. It was definitely a highlight in my career to rub shoulders with such amazing people, I can’t wait to put into action the things I’ve learned. Man, long post, I’m sorry, off to kiss my little ones and then in bed! Peace and love to all! Here are a couple of images from the night.

I know a lot of photographers that don’t take time to photograph their little ones. I mean, man, after shooting an all day wedding, lugging around a 70-200 (heavy lens) and running like mad…it is kinda hard to get in the artsy/photographic mood. You’re more in the mood of blah! Anyhow, we just got back from Santa Maria and had a great time at our church’s camp meeting. I saw some killer light coming through the window and decided to get some fresh shots of our little kiddos. Check back this week, because I’ve got a sweet wedding I shot yesterday with Regas Chefas in SF to post, Free To Succeed Tour with David Jay in SF tomorrow (yay, I’m an ambassador), a wedding in Yosemite on thursday evening and a wedding in Vacaville on saturday! I love it! Enjoy and smile!
