So the Shoemake family braved the sweltering heat, the crowds and rising cost of fuel to enjoy several days at the happiest place on earth: DISNEYLAND! It was a great trip (Eden and Huntley’s first time) and we have memories galore. I think that everybody should go to Disneyland at least once a year (just not when its 100 degrees). You really get to leave the world behind and have a good time!

This trip was extra special as my nana & papa and my dad & step mom were able to make it. Enjoy.

We had a great time at The Reata in Oakdale, CA (one of my new favorite wedding venues), shooting the nuptials of Samantha and Greg. They’re a great couple and we had a blast. The wedding party was super fun and the whole day was awesome! The Reata is a great venue if you’re looking for a place to get married in the Central Valley, the food was rockin’! I had the uber-talented Conrad Lim from LA as my second shooter at this wedding and his images are looking amazing! Thanks again man! Check the slideshow! And yes, the new blog is coming! Soon.

So, I’ve been out of town and just giving you a preview of what’s to come on the blog. Well first of all A NEW BLOG! I’m getting all fancy and working on a cool new blog which means bigger, better images and slideshows. A wedding this weekend which is at a super cool venue in Oakdale, CA call The Reata (TheReataOakdale.com). I’ll be talking a bit about getting more from the camera you bought at Target/WalMart/Costco. And some Disney fun too. So, stay tuned.
