Haha, a little ebonics there for you guys. I just got back from Palm Springs sunday morning about 9:30. I just shot an awesome wedding, for a super cool, fresh, rad couple. You can see their e-session below and I’ll throw the wedding pics up soon. They are amazing. Anyhow, after meeting the bride for make-up and hair shots, I had a few moments to check email. I roll over to the nearest coffee shop, open the Apple Macbook Pro, and BOOYAH…a folder icon with a question mark. Funny thing is, I’ve seen this before! All of you who know me, know that I loooove Macs, I don’t own a PC anymore…but this is so frustrating. If it is a crashed hard drive, it will be the second time! UGGHH. I’ll find out some more later. Oh well, I guess I’ll be forced to edit on my 24″ iMac! haha.
The moral of the story is to watch your back. In other words back up your work. Even if you’re not pro and it is just family pics, back them up! I have my images on 2 computers, external hard drives, DVDs and an off-site, online backup. You can never be too safe. Take care and God Bless!

I had a great time in San Diego and LA this past week and part of the radness was hooking up with a new friend, Bobby Earle. Him and his wife team up and are doing some fine photography all over the planet. He drove over and met me on the coast and we talked shop for a while. It’s so great to meet and converse with people who share the same passion as you! We both grew up skating, our wives teach in preschools (well, his is going full-time photo soon), and we love photography. We’ll definitely do it again and I’ll have some vids for you guys real soon!
